Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach aimed at addressing maladaptive thought patterns and behaviours. Through collaborative sessions with a skilled therapist, individuals learn to recognize and modify negative thought patterns, leading to healthier emotional responses and positive behavioural changes. CBT is particularly effective in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, and various behavioural disorders.

Solution-focused Therapy is a goal-oriented therapeutic method that emphasizes identifying and amplifying one's strengths and resources to facilitate problem resolution. By focusing on desired outcomes and practical solutions, individuals can move forward and create positive changes in their lives. This approach is beneficial for those seeking to overcome challenges, make decisions, and enhance their overall well-being without extensive exploration of past experiences.

Person-centred Therapy, also known as client-centred therapy, is a humanistic approach centred around creating a non-judgmental and empathetic therapeutic environment. By providing individuals with genuine support and understanding, this approach aims to promote self-awareness, personal growth, and self-acceptance. Person-centred Therapy is suitable for individuals looking to improve self-esteem, explore their inner experiences, and achieve personal development goals.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a mindfulness-based approach that encourages individuals to accept their emotions and thoughts rather than trying to suppress or control them. By focusing on acceptance and committing to meaningful actions aligned with one's values, individuals can achieve psychological flexibility and resilience. ACT has shown effectiveness in managing conditions like anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, as well as enhancing overall well-being.

Psychotherapy is versatile and can be tailored to address various mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

Psychotherapy

Schema-focused Therapy is a therapeutic approach designed to identify and modify long-standing, negative thought and behaviour patterns, known as schemas. By delving into early life experiences and core beliefs, individuals gain insight into their emotional and behavioural responses and work towards healthier coping strategies. This approach is particularly relevant for individuals with entrenched patterns of maladaptive behaviour and unresolved childhood issues.
